Bali Bliss

Amidst the freezing cold temperatures we have to suffer here in Tassie we decided it’d be a GOOD idea to head to Bali for Hannah’s Hens week and lap up the luxuries it has to offer. So… here’s our low down on a Bali escape with a classy hens twist… because we needed an excuse to go and that seemed like a pretty good one!

When it comes to accommodation in Bali more often than not the pictures they display on the internet are nothing like they seem in real life… and because we were determined to ‘live the life’ over there we weren’t willing to risk it. 

We had 10 girls and it can be a little tricky to find beds for that many without compromising on quality- but some friends of ours had stayed at Chandra Villas in Seminyak so we thought we’d give them a go! OMG amazing!!.

  Chandra is a collection of amazing contemporary pool villas located in the heart of Seminyak, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. When you enter your villa it feels as though you have your very own property - a massive private pool, alfresco dining area over looking the pool where your private chefs will cook for you daily, and incredible individual rooms with indoor/outdoor ensuites (because who wouldn’t want a bubble bath surrounded by tropical gardens).

The Chandra team are incredible, the staff are the loveliest people we have ever met (Yep we’re talking about you Minnie!) and they will go out of their way to help you in any way possible… Including secret hens party business, but that’s highly confidential!

The highlight of our trip was definitely our day trip to the Karama Kandara day spa in Uluwatu. Dewi the spa manager there had organised the ‘pretty party’ hens package with us for ultimate indulgence! The package included eight 75min massages in little bungalows literally hanging off the cliffs of Uluwatu… so no need for that fake ocean music on record, we had the real deal! After our massages we headed over to the hot outdoor spa overlooking the beaches of Uluwatu accompanied by champagne, and canapes… yum!

Such an amazing trip with the best bunch of girls and our last escape before the craziness that is Christmas!
